Saw this on the shelf of my local store last night - didn't have much time to look at it so thought I'd check it out on BGG.

What I'm struggling with, is that most descriptions and unboxing videos seem to be of Kickstarter purchases so I'm struggling to work out which components are standard base and what is kickstarter promotions.

Can anyone point me at a review or list of what you get in the retail base version.

Cheers,

Nigel

p.s. I did consider the kickstarter version but was put of by the cost of postage to the UK and the potential for high import taxes, duty and admin charges.

Did you look at the More Information block on the game's main page? It lists the contents of the game as:

Box content:

* 4 sets of 6 engraved "resource dice" (2 Red, 2 White, 2 Blue)
* 4 special "Unit marker" dice (player tokens that double as turn markers)
* 4 regular d6 (for Machine-Gun Fire and Landmines)
* 4 Resource cards (with dials for each of the 4 resources)
* 4 player aids
* 52 Regular Specialist cards (4 sets of 13, in each color)
* 11 Unique Specialist cards
* 10 Regular Item cards
* 18 Special Item cards
* 6 Vehicle cards
* 12 Award cards
* 8 Battle Maps (printed on 4 double-sided boards)
* 1 Rulebook

I was the same, the kickstarter was to expensive postage wise. I picked up the base game and found it to be more than enough to be playing with for now. I have since bought the flare pouch from the BGG Store which is a cheap fun addition.

So what are the tokens for?

I have found nothing about them in the rules.

Random sectors such as on Sword Beach. As well as possible future uses.
