I've only played the full conquest scenario so far and I really like it. Which of the other scenarios are really good and worth playing? Liberating mines and playing with magical glades doesn't sound quite as epic as conquering cities.

Poll
Except for solo conquest, which is the best scenario for a solo game?
Mines Liberation
Druid Nights
Dungeon Lords
Other (please specify in a comment)

Re: Best Scenarios
You might want to try "Hunting the Rogue Knight," in the contributed files. It was designed for solo play.

Thanks for the tip! Here is the link for quick access:
Scenario: Hunting for the Rogue Knight

Really like the idea of giving the dummy player some flavour by using him/her as the hunted knight. Also like how one can prepare for the final duel, since the identity of the knight is known. Very nice!

Re: Best Scenarios
I now prefer mines, druids and dungeons to full conquest. Played each twice, but the was happy going back to major city killing.

Didn't know that existed. Looks fun. One question from those rules (if you would know)

"You use Healing that is not specifically “for use out of combat”"

Isn't all healing specifically "for use out of combat?". What other kind of healing are we talking about here?

Actually I stumbled upon this too. Maybe it's meant as "for use while in combat"? However one cannot heal in combat anyway.

We should discuss that matter in the file section though.

I think it is okay to discuss it here.
I helped playtest that scenario. Once the duel starts, there are a series of combat rounds. After each combat round, you may use healing effects, such as Tranquility, Regeneration, or Restoration. But Refreshing Walk could not be played during the duel because it is a movement card.

Thanks for the kind words on the scenario, I still have fun playing it.

To be completely honest, I'm not exactly sure what I meant with the blurb about "Healing effects". I think that was meant to rule out things like "Potion Making" (which specifies "except in combat"), but that would also affect "I feel no pain", and that part I'm not so sure about.

Seriously, I'd say to just disregard it altogether, the final duel's pretty balanced as it is (from my perspective... feedback still welcome!)
