Close combat odds are always rounded in the favour of the defender according to the rules.

How are odds of 8:6 (2:1.5) rounded? Are they rounded to 2:1 or 1:1?

Thanks in advance.

Odds are always rounded down to the nearest column. In this case, 2:1.

Um, I think 8:6 is 1:1. It would be 1.33:1, rounded down to 1:1. You don't get a 2:1 until the attacker gets to 12, 12:6 is the first 2:1 combo.

I agree with Andrew.
The odds are always rounded down in favour of the defender. So 8:6 becomes 1:1.

2:1 would require 12:6 factors and, not forgetting the 3:2 attack would require 9:6 factors. Your attack falls just below the requirement for 3:2 so rounds down to the next ratio i.e. 1:1

Ciao.
