Does anyone have the measurements of the bases used in this game?
Just wondering if a gridded map to fit said bases would be helpful during play.
Many thanks in advance.

It's approximately 1" x 1" off the top of my head. I can look it up but I don't see much benefit from a gridded map. First off, movement can turn you 45-degrees so you aren't going to be fitting in the grid at that point. Also, you may set up and face any direction so nothing says that you will be following the lines anyway.

If all you are doing is using it as a reference point, then the size isn't as important.

Thanks Brian,

I take your point about a grid not being helpful.
End result will be a cheaper galactic play mat for me.
Cheers.

There are a hair over 1 9/16" which probably puts them at 40 mm exactly.

Holy crap, people.

NEVER give up information about the bases!

You guys weren't even tortured!

If an Imperial says 'please' you guys would just go and lay out all the plans.

How the hell is this rebellion ever going to get off the ground if you guys just blab about the bases?

I used to bulls-eye wamp rats in my T-16 back home. They're not much bigger than 40mm.

You’ve never heard of the Millennium Falcon? … It’s the ship that made ffg change the base size to 12 parsecs.

Neither was Leia when she ratted out Dantooine.

I don't know if a mind probe counts as torture, but the size of the needle that torture droid had sure makes me think it's not applying a stress situation.

When she gave the abandoned base away, it was the death star threat against Aldaraan, not the torture droid.
