I met Heisen in the Feel the Love thread. One day jfro decided to run a FTL Werewolf game, and he was one of the new folks who decided to give the game a spin. He quickly took to it, signing up for a ton of games before trying his hand at modding. It's embarrassing when someone you introduce to a hobby surpasses you in skill and proficiency!

Oh, hi there.

I am a happily married guy from New Brunswick Canada.
We have no kids (right now) but we do have four cats and a 7 month old golden retriever!

My gaming background started with my NES when I was a youngster.
I currently have all 3 big systems.
I never really got into PC gaming.

My board gaming started about 5 years ago when we tried Catan for the first time.
We quickly gobbled up all the expansions and played it 3-4 times a week with our couple friends that we shared a duplex with.
Then we discovered that OTHER games existed and now we have no money.

I love WW because I love deduction and puzzles.
This is reflected in my love of mathy euros.

Point of pride: In almost every WW game I play, someone says "This doesn't sound like regular Heisen".
HA, you have never met regular heisen... devil

Now then:

- What's your favorite game played?

- Game modded?

- Why do you always sound so evil to me? I feel like we're never buddies in a game.

Played: I really enjoyed the latest texas WW. TW8. Lovers with an evil was a fun experience.

- MV1 was a lot of fun with the 2 martyrs killed n1, but also the LOST game with all the roleplaying was really fantastic. Thanks to everyone who participated in that.

- devil You never let me into your trust circle. (real answer: Good sounding people get kight killed)

Yeah, I have one crazy fun idea that I am saving up for MV3. I can't give any details as it is a hidden roleset.

Other than that, I really would like to reach hunter parity myself someday.

When did you start questioning precis' goodness? (Heisen was Villager/Lover, precis was Wolf/Lover)

I mean, even when I said "Your partner is a wolf" (desperately trying to bus him and live til the end) you didn't seem to believe me.

The best chance of that is probably in a Fiver. We should probably play more Fast Fivers.

Apparently it's not just you. I'm browsing the Cassy fun stats, and Heisenberg is number one in percentage mislynched. 9 out of 10 games he's played as good!

Congrats!

Great? lol.

That is a tricky one... see 8/9 of those were as villager and I often play for the win as opposed to playing for survival.

For example here Re: FTL plays WW 3.23, Or: Moin Moin, Lynch Lynch

Lynch chaos, I suspected a potential seer mislynch in Violin, I am a villager, I self vote. In this example they lynch the seer as soon as I leave though...

Congo rats, Travis!!!
I am glad you like Texas WW so much.
And what's your favorite roleset to play in (both in f2f and BGG WW)?
Do you and your wife want kids (it seems insinuating yes!)?
How tall are you?
What's your favorite outdoor activities (sports or not)?
What's your favorite single role you've made up?

f2f, I prefer Wolf/Seer/Villager. Good old fashioned WW.

Yeah we both do, but we are not currently trying.
violintides wrote:

175 cm.

Or 5-9ish.
violintides wrote:

Running, Tennis, Badminton, walking my dog.

I was really happy with the Saboteur in LOST even though it was actually never used. The Forensic Reporter from MV2 was fun even though it was short lived.

Also from MV2, the "mystic" was nothing more than a latent seer with an n0 positive. I thought that one might cause more of a stir than it did. I YOU had drawn that role and claimed a positive things might have gone differently

That role basically WAS Violin. And thanks to her for having taken the mantle of D1 seer claims so it didn't seem odd that I did it.

Congratulations, Heisenberg!!

How/why did you choose your username?

What is your avatar?

Suppose you know there's going to be a really awesome game of WW; would you rather be the mod or one of the players?

It is a combination of love for Werner Heisenberg and the alias of Walter White on the tv show Breaking Bad.

It is an image of Richard Stark's Parker, recreated recently in comic form by Darwyn Cooke. Here is a sample from "The Hunter"

Play!

I love modding but mostly because I love creating the rule sets. If the game is already going to be awesome I will play.

Favorite book/movie/TV show/(comic if that applies, as it appears to)?

Favorite alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage?

Favorite role to get?

If you could have a super-power, what would you pick?

Congrats Heisenberg!!

I loved playing in Lost.

What gave you the idea for that game?

If you could theme a game any way, what would you choose?
