The Product Page for FFG shows '6' in a BLUE field.

Blue topped FFG sleeves are square 2 11/16 (presumably for tiles)?

Should that actually be a GREEN field for the sleeves?

I haven't done sleeving on an FFG title before, and the whole color coding thing is throwing me off.

These cards need the GREY sleeves (63.5x88, or standard size 2.5" x 3.5").

They are standard size - just a hair taller than Magic cards so they fit very snuggly tall wise in most standard sleeves.

So why is the sleeve indicator blue?

I'm so confused.

Oh, wait, it's the field color behind the number!

Okay, that's not clear at all.

You're looking at the background and not the color code. The 6 is on a gray color code, which are the standard sized sleeves as others have said.

I randomly chose Android for comparison (http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_minisite_sec.asp?eidm...) where there is a 7 on a green color code.

While we're on this topic, will they fit in Dragon Shields? I have 8 or so boxes of Dragon Shields from when I played L5R a year or so ago, would be nice to use em!

Dragon Shields are Standard 2.5x3.5 size so you (and I) should be good to go.

Yeah I've got tons of generic sleeves from back in the day when I was playing L5R and StarWarsCCG. Hope they fit.

I bought the standard-sized Ultra-Pro sleeves and they fit just fine.

Mayday's Green sleeves are also supposed to fit LCG's. I'm leaning towards those or penny sleeves.

Well, guess I'm flying up to Canada to get you back into L5R then....

Sadly, if I use anything but Mayday/penny sleeves for my Dominion cards, then I have to bring a small wheelbarrow to hold them all in.

I'm more of a board gamer than a LCG/CCG'er, so I didn't realize Mayday had that reputation. Any reason for this? I know they're a bit thinner than FFG's. I've sleeved Cosmic Encounter and other games with cards with Mayday sleeves, though, and have yet to see any problems whatsoever.

What problems have you guys had with them?

Here's something that you might find illuminating. I also will not be using Mayday sleeves.

Yikes. Well I can understand some people choosing not to deal with them. I've bought only Chimera sized sleeves from them and haven't had any issues, though.

Yeah, I have a personal dislike of Mayday due to what I perceive as shady business practices.

Prior to starting Mayday, the owner had another business. If you want to, you should google for it. There are a lot of illuminating stories about this person.

It seems that he didn't learn his lesson after starting Mayday. In the thread that I linked you will see a pattern where he picks and chooses good testimonials from the myriad of bad ones. Very seldomly, if at all, will you find an apology posted by him about his service. Instead, he always deflects the blame.

All in all, quite shady.
