Was looking to Preorder Timber Peak on the CSI website and this popped up in a search. I have not seen anything about it yet. anyone else have anymore information? Seemed like a separate entry....

Expected release: 2013. Date subject to change.

The Blood in the Forest Expansion sees the heroes fight their way deeper into the forested mountains, and can be added to LNOE: Timber Peak or directly to the original Last Night on Earth. Featuring a full set of new Forest Boards (4 Comers and 4 Straight pieces) as well as a new double-sided Forest Center Board (with the Airfield), a set of 7 vicious new Feral Zombies, 2 new Heroes (Sister Ophelia, the reformed man, Agent Carter, an FBI agent who knows more about the outbreak than he lets on), as well as a host of new Hero and Zombie cards, counters, scenarios, and game mechanics. Blood in the Forest also expands on the Fire and Upgrades systems originally introduced in LNOE: Timber Peak. As the Zombie plague spreads, the forests will run red!

Aw, 2013? There are pics of it in action at GenCon, I was hoping this would mean a relatively quick release date...

I remember hearing about this a long time ago, but we thought it was just a working title for Timber Peak. I had no idea they were two separate things.

I if am not mistaken , Blood in the Forest was the working title as mentioned before for Timber Peak.

The Coast and Timber Peak will be out in the next two months(I believe next month actually)

At the end of the Timber Peak rule book it reads "As night falls, there will be Blood in the Forest."

Nothing at Gencon about this expansion.

I'm going to guess that they are pieces used to fill in the gaps when one builds a map with 8 L-shaped outer-boards. But that's just pure speculation.

Actually, "Blood in the Forest" is an expansion to "Timber Peak" (and LNOE itself).

I imagine they make a square board when you take a center board, put four regular corner pieces around it like normal, but then put four more corners on those corners. The straight pieces fill in the gaps between the second set of corner pieces, making for a really huge board.

This sounds like "Growing Hunger" for Timber Peak to be honest.
