So I stood around while my friends demoed the game and went through most of the cards and snapped some photos of each.

http://www.cardgamedb.com/index.php/index.html/_/star-wars/s...

It isn't great quality (yay iphone4s cam) but for the most part I managed to get some decent snaps.

Wow, thanks so much for posting those up. I still have some doubts with this game but those pictures just went a HUGE way towards winning me over and showing the level of theme that does exist in the game.

Some great stuff there.

I can see the flavour text hasn't been enhanced since the last prototype. Man, the quotes they chose for some of the cards is so BAD. shake It's almost laughable.

For example:

I'm on the Leader: "Close up formation." - Darth Vader, A New Hope

ISB Interrogators: "Where are you taking this...thing? - A New Hope.

Ugh! These are meaningless without context, and don't enhance the card at all besides. Look at all the space they had to work with. Why not use it to give a brief explanation on--for example--who the ISB Interrogators are and what they do (yes, the name is kind of explanatory, but still...), when they were established and where they're primarily stationed.

Virtually everyone would get the reference, yes, but I believe they deserve something more than "Where are you taking this...thing?" Hahaha. Apparently the only significant thing the ISB ever did in Star Wars lore was wonder what a Wookie was and where it was going.

Look, I it's a minor thing, and, make no mistake, it's a minor complaint, but when did it become taboo to nitpick on BGG?

Maybe they'll get better when they get to making real cards instead of just ones for demo.

Hey Darksbane (or others), do you have a decent guess as to how many cards are missing/were doubled up/were in each demo deck?

And I wonder if it's possible to get a rough idea of the decklists for them.

I'm curious if there's enough info between these pics and what other people have posted to cobble together some demo decks ourselves to try out.

I don't unfortunately. The demo guys always seem to get flustered when I'm taking pics of all the cards I try to be as unobtrusive as possible so getting an accurate count of the cards frequency in the decks isn't feasible.

I'm not 100% sure but I think the breakdowns are similar to:
50 card decks
1 of each unique unit
2-3 copies of the non-unique units (closer to two)
1-2 of each Fate card
1-3 copies of the various events
1 copy of each objective.

If you stuck to a system similar to that, bumping up the lower powered cards until you hit 50 you should have something comparable I think.

I also know I'm missing 2 cards minimum from each side.
Light Side:
Red 5 - unit 3 cost, 2 Force, 2 health, 3 black explosion, elite
Ancient Monument - enhancement 1 cost, 3 Force play area enhancement that contributes 1 force icon to your side during force struggle

Dark Side:
Interrogation Droid - unit 3 cost, 2 Force, 2 health, 1 black action icon, Reaction: After this unit enters play, discard 1 card at random from each opponents hand.
A Disturbance in the Force - Event ? cost, 3 Force, Action: Place 1 focus token on each enemy unit that is committed to the Force.

Can anyone remember/make out all of the phases on the Sith and Jedi cards? Also, what does the card you attach to units when they commit to the Force say or do? Anything extra than what we've already heard winning the Force battle does?

From what I remember committing someone to the force helped in winning the force battle at the end of each turn. Also when they activated they received two tokens instead of one so you can't use them as often (unless they are elites).

I have all the phases listed in the first article:
http://www.cardgamedb.com/index.php/index.html/_/star-wars/a...

Todd is correct on the commitment to the force. The card for it just has reminder text. If you commit someone to the force they get 2 activation tokens when they activate to strike and they contribute their force icons to the struggle if they are unactivated during the force phase.

Seems like the "objectives" are just GoT plot cards, except you have 3 at once and get them randomly.

Also the "location" cards are the same as the +1 gold locations from GoT and are even "limited".

Still some really nice art though.

Kind of, They are more like a combination of the Plots from GoT and the Story cards from Call of Cthulhu. They provide you resources like in Game of Thrones, but they are what you 'attack' like in Call of Cthulhu. The gametext on them though has a different feel from either plots or stories. For example there is a dark side one which has 10 health and provides 3 resources but if it gets destroyed you lose the game.

Does the Sith starting card have different phases or reserve count? I'm mainly curious because your picture of the Dark Side Force bonus thing they had on the table says "During the Dominion phase".

Thanks.

I didn't take a picture of the dark side card but all their phases are functionally the same as the light side. So that bonus happens during the first phase. Reserve count was also the same at 6.

I'm not going to lie, seeing SW images back in card game form gave me a little chill. I have no idea if this game is going to be worth it or not, but I may buy a starter anyway.

What decks were all the neutral cards in? I think I saw the human replica droid in a dark side hand, and C-3PO was out for the LS along with the Corellian Engineer in one demo video, but what about the Kuati Security team? Or the Resistance Informant? Does anyone remember?

Thanks. I've just found two more partial cards in the pictures that just uploaded.

Light Side Twi'lek Loyalist: unit, cost ?, force ?, 1 health, white gun icon, white action icon. No gametext.

Dark Side Advisor to the Emperor: unit, cost 2, 2 force, can't see the rest but looks like he has one of those package resource icons?

Anyone know the missing data on these?
