Greetings.......
We recently got a pontoon boat to float around on and I'm wanting some ideas on boat-friendly board games.
Not too many pieces that can slide around, and cards/money that can blow around...
Just a couple of adults enjoying the lake and adult beverages.
Boating/tropical themes would be fun...
Battleship is all I've come up with so far.... I've seen something called "Bermuda Triangle" that sounds cool.......
Any suggestions?

It's not boat themed, but Hive would work well. The pieces won't get destroyed by water and they're heavy enough to not be blown by wind.

It's a pontoon boat, odds of getting wet are minimal..... Looking into Hive made the light bulb come on for things like dominoes (duh)..I'm happy kicking back with a book, but that's not very interactive....

Tongiaki: Journey into the Unknown is a nice light boating, tropical game.

My mum seems to think I like ships (which I do to an extent), and so I have quite a few "ships/boats" games, but all involve fiddly things like counters, paper money etc. Personally, if I was on a boat, I'd play quick simple dice games, in particular I'd play Perudo

Thanks for the ideas!
I ended up ordering a few less expensive games rather than just one pricier one.
I got Pirate Farkle, with skulls & crossbones on the dice and another pirate dice game called Rollin' the Bones. Thought it was cute because the dice are shaped like bones with swords and stuff on them.
Also got two card games, one a card game version of Scrabble, except it uses only four letter words...and after a few drinks, that one could get pretty darned funny.
And a card game version of Trivial Pursuit that you can use subsidiary card sets with, and I have a BUNCH of those.
I found my dominoes buried in the closet behind all the Trivial Pursuit sets.
I can store the cards in ziploc baggies and a plastic container, and if they somehow get damaged, or ruined, oh well, they can be replaced.
So we're good to go on the party barge.
Thanks again!
