Campaign Game - All 28 turns

Barbarossa - Axis Game turn 1 to End of Game turn 5: 5 turns?
Fall Brau - Axis Game turn 7 to End of game Turn 10: 4 turns?
Operation Saturn - Soviet Game Turn 10 to End of game turn 13: 4 turns?
Citadel - Axis Game turn 14 to End of Game turn 19: 6 turns?
Operation Bagration - Soviet Game turn 19 to End of Game turn 22: 4 turns?
Na Berlin! - Soviet Game turn 23 to End of game turn 28: 7 turns?

Are those accurate?

So, is Barbarossa the best intro scenario to this game?

Yes, that is correct, although you could regard the Operation Saturn scenario as only 3.5 turns since the Soviets move first.

Personally I would just get cracking with the full campaign to get the feel of this game.

Golden words! I 100% agree, this is the best way to feel the game.

Yep. But perhaps for the first (1941) and last (1945) scenarios: Those are good practice.

I rarely play other scenarios myself, but they are good now and then for a quick contest, plus it,s nice to compare your own Campaign Game performace with the historical front lines.

Thanks all. I'll probably solo the shorter ones first to get a good grip on the rules (I'm getting there). The examples in the Rulebook and Scenario Book help a ton, and the VASSAL logfile I tracked down gave some flow to it. Reading a rulebook and seeing the rules executed in a the flow of the game are two different animals.

Thanks again!
