Those are simple rules to codify when are you allowed to take card from your oponents spell book and how to resolve contested cards from outside both spellbooks.

Sometimes you will like to modify your deck and building it from the begining would take a lot of time. This "rules" are for situations in wich there are some cards in your oponents spellbook, you would like to have or when there are some cards in noones deck and both of players want them.

If you want some simple drafting rules, thre is another variant posted by me in this forum.

Taking card from oponents spellbook:
- You are allowed to take one card from your oponents spellbook if:
1. There are no such cards in unused pile.
2. Taking such card will not cause you will have more points from all its copy.
Example - enemy has 3 cards worth 5 points each (15 points) and you have 1 such card - you are allowed to take 1 such card (5 points) from your oponents spellbook. Both of players will have 10 points worth cards.
BUT
If your oponent is specialist in those spells and you are not, his 3 cards are worth 15 points and your is worth 10 points and you are not allowed to take any card from his spellbook, because it will lead to situation in wich you will have 20 points and oponent only 10.

With concested cards outside both spellbooks:
- split copies of contested cards in half POINTWISE (doubble walue for non-specialist, tripple for opposing school).
- if there are any cards left, more specialised mage (specialist > non-specialist > oposing school) have right to take all of them.
- in case of tie, player with cheaper spellbook choses first.
- in case of further tie - flip a coin
- than you can follow the rules of taking cards from oponents deck

What is this? I don't even...

Is it a draft? Or just malicious stealing spells from your opponent? What's the base draft you're using?

Sorry - I forgot about clarification. I'm going to add introduction in a moment.
