Hi, I recently received the German first edition (eggertspiele), but I can't read German The pieces are in both English and German, but not the manual. Can I use the manual for the Z-Man edition? Or there are some differences in the components (besides colors or shapes)?
Thanks

The second edition made some changes. There are English rules for the first edition in the Files section on the game page.

Thanks for your help, but I can't find the file. Also, can you please summarize the changes?
Thanks

Edit: You are talking about Rulebook v0.1?

I don't remember what the changes are.

There are at least two English rules files for first edition in the Files section - anything dated before 2008 must be for the first edition. Here is one:

You may want these, as well:

EDIT: But use the First edition rules for Mines. Game plays much better that way.

There are at least four people selling 1st edition copies in Marketplace. Admittedly they are all in Europe (I think), so shipping will be high.

ETA: Troll and Toad is selling a damaged copy cheap.
