Sorry that is not the most endearing thread title from someone looking for a huge favour. This is a plea to all you lucky UK folk who are attending Essen this year. I’m looking for someone who’d be willing to purchase a game for me and then once back in the UK ship it to me.

I realise this will be a totally selfless act and anyone who is willing are going above and beyond for their fellow geek. I’ll cover all purchasing and post and packaging cost beforehand using Paypal. The game I’d like bringing back is a card game so it shouldn’t anchor somebody’s luggage too much.

Anyone else looking for an Essen Angel... Yeah that is a better title! Please feel free to use this thread.

Last year I made a geeklist on this very topic:

and it was pretty successful. I posted links to it in the Essen forum to get more eyes on it: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/forum/115/boardgamegeek/essen

Just don't resort to ingesting meeples in an attempt to get past customs. Same goes for secreting game parts in other parts of your body. surprise

That sounds like it could be a really good idea. Anybody planning on setting one up? Anywhere we can find what games will actually be available from Essen? Don't want anything particular but find it hard to pass such an opportunity up!
