Hello!

My fiance and I are looking for a Manchester-based board gaming club - we play Fantasy Flight games, Euro games (Days of Wonder, Rio Grande etc), Magic the Gathering etc. (but are open to new things too ). Are there any groups who meet semi-regularly in/around Manchester?

Thanks.

Hi Eleanora

there are gaming groups in the centre of Manchester,Stockport,Bolton, liverpool and Wigan that I know of that game on a regular basis.

Liverpool lions
http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/liverpool_lion_boardgame...

Magers Stockport-

Bolton-

Wigan-

Stuart attends a Manchester club and can probably inform you about Fan boy 3 in Manchester as well-

There is an allday gaming event this September on the 30th where members from all these clubs will be attending and would be an excellent way to find out about the various clubs in the area as well as being a fantastic day in its own right-

If you need anymore info on the various clubs just ask

Hope that helps

Will

Hi Eleanor.

Will has been very thorough listing the regular gaming groups in the area... I usually go to the group in Stockport which meets every Tuesday night at the Heaton Mersey Conservative club from 7:30pm till about 11pm

There is also a monthly group on a Friday night at "Ivy Manchester" on Barlow Moor Road in Didsbury... The next meeting is this coming Friday from 7:30pm - my wife and I often go to this, if our babysitter is available.
The organiser of that is:

Hey

Thanks for the useful replies - sounds very promising! Andy - the monthly group in Didsbury sounds great I'll get in touch with Stewart about the group he attends.

Steve - I think you're still on John's login

Just to let you know. Ergo exists in St. helens, we meet 3 wednesdays out of 4, the off week the hall is used by someone else. We play all sorts. Besides this we have blood bowl league running, dnd running 4-6pm, 6-7pm filler games, 7pm onwards normally heavier games and we leave about 10-11pm depending on what we are playing.

we are under town name in above link

Hello all,

I am planning on starting up the board game night at Fanboy 3 as of 17th August 2014. I am planning on bringing a few games and of course the shop has a small selection as well.

It would be nice if any of you here would like to come and of course bring a game of preference. The gathering starts at 6 mainly for social and maybe getting food, but I expect gaming to start at 7.

Some players are expected at 8 and the shop itself closes at 11.00, so games need to be on last turns at 10.45 to allow time for clean up. There is already a guy planning to run it and I am helping

If you want to contact me about this my e-mail is romanbode@hotmail.com or message me on here, but I am not on here very often.

Hope to see you soon.

The Romanbode.
