Only just seen this. Guess I've missed beta testing but look forward to the game being complete and available.

Yes, this combination of language and technology was used.

I never played Catan so that may explained some of my difficulty.

I had to install Net and XNA as expected. It would be nice if I got an error message saying which component was missing but I understand that might not be possible. You might want to look at the free Inno installer.

The game ran fine on my Windows 7 desktop.

The music and graphics are excellent.

I started a game, it was not clear that I was selecting a scenario or that the scenario was a tutorial.

The tutorial told me what to do but not where to do it and more importantly why to do it.

I couldn't get into the game because I had no idea what I was doing or why. I would like to be able to access help information from the menu that would include;
- Game/scenario objective
- What I can build, their benefits and cost
- What the resources are and how they're collected.
- List of keyboard shortcuts (if any)

Great start, just needs a little more explanation.
