New clearance items went up on Miniature Market as of 9/11/12:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A Few Acres of Snow: At $30, Miniature Market beats out its closest competitors, CoolStuffInc and Boards & Bits, by $14. Plus, it's actually in stock unlike the aforementioned store fronts. Only six left in stock, so jump on it! You can read about this (rank 72 overall) game on BGG here.

EDIT: Out of Stock, 9/12/12

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dungeon Fighter: Typically, Dungeon Fighter sells for $33 at the other online game store fronts, including CoolStuffInc. Doesn't quite beat the sale at CSI for $25 on Labor Day, but for $27, it will still save you a cool $5-6 off normal price for those who were waiting to pick it up. You can read details about the game on BGG here.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Axis and Allies 1942 (Second Edition): The suggested retail is $65 on this one. Currently $36 dollars, which is $6.50 less than CSI. You can read details about the game on BGG here.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Leviathans: At $65, you'll save a modest $5 over a purchase of this new flying airship miniatures core set over CSI. Not much, but it's money saved on one of the hot games from GenCon this season. BGG page here.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also, Axis and Allies: Angels 20 Boosters also went on additional clearance. Personally, I love this collectible miniature game and it is $5 cheaper per booster than CSI (3 planes/booster). MSRP is $25 per booster so at $12, this is more than 50% off. Additionally, Booster cases (8 boosters/case) are $95. This is a full $30 cheaper than CSI.

There are more new games on Clearance here, but I simply listed the most popular.

Hmm, I'm getting 'out of stock' when attempting to cart Snow...

That's unfortunate. I sincerely hope someone didn't buy them all out single-handedly.

Same here. Product page shows in stock (qty 6 at the moment) but when I add to cart, bam, out of stock.

Thanks Bryan.

I was looking for Dungeon Fighter after playing it a few weeks ago, so the $5 off the cheapest online prices was nice. I was also pleased to see Lancaster at $5-6 lower too. Leviathans seems worth a look, and a little bird told me that it's going to be a while in between printings. Free shipping, plus I discovered that I had a bunch of bonus points and got a $5 discount.

Thanks for the tip. I've been looking at it for awhile. I have Sky Galleons of Mars, but it's been feeling a bit dated.

My pleasure. Now I hope that my "little bird" has correct info.

They claim to have been told this by someone (in person) from Catalyst and, to my knowledge, have no reason to lie about it. They bought a copy for themselves (not in this sale).

Munchkin $16

Last Night on Earth: The Zombie Game $33

Thanks for this list. I've been waffling on Elder Sign because of the difficulty (or lack thereof) issues. But, I had some money collecting dust in my PayPal account, so for $10.70 out-of-pocket, shipped, I figured it was worth it.

I kept going back and forth looking at Dungeon Fighter. Finally broke down and ordered it along with Roma II. Great prices!

I am doing the same thing at this moment. As much as I want to purchase Dungeon Fighter, I cannot fill out the rest of my cart with games I absolutely want to bring my order to $99 for free shipping!

My shipping was only $7, which was cheap enough for me to avoid putting another $50 worth of games in my cart.

I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I placed my order on Tuesday night and received the order this morning. Really good packaging too - the box was huge and they used lots of packing material.

I have to admit that after reading your comment, I simply had to pull the trigger on Dungeon Fighter as well. I haven't played, but the youtube review from Tom Vassel was rather convincing and seemed like a perfect fit for my casual group of gaming friends.

In any case, I can't wait to play! Thanks for the extra push, Jack!

I snagged Dungeon Fighter during the CSI $25 sale and have since played it once with my play group. It's hard, to the point where I think it needs some house ruled handicap rules for more casual groups. My advice would be to let people practice their dice throws a decent amount before starting the game, and perhaps even allow a couple mulligans during the game. My friends had a negative reaction to the game because we didn't really practice before jumping into the first game, and was got slaughtered, horribly so. It'll be hard to get my friends to try the game again.

Well, I wouldn't have even seen it on sale had it not been for your post, so I'm glad to give a little back.

That's a shame Ryan. We lost too (about 2/3 of the way through), but we had a lot of laughs while playing and - with my group - that's more important than how well we do (or don't do). I guess it's about what's important to the group when playing a game. If we laugh, then it's going to make the table again (and sooner rather than later).

MM.com has become my go to place for games. Being able to use USPS for cheaper shipping on small games is great, and I've always had my product, in hand, in less than a week's time.

Add in their rewards program, and they seem to meet my every gaming need, right now.

Lately I've kinda gone back and forth between MM, CoolStuffInc and Boards & Bits (and Heron Games for anything specific to the UK like Tresham's 18xx stuff).

I think I've been fortunate though... never had a problem with any of them and MM's recent clearance sales have gotten me to buy more than I probably would have.

I usually stick to Boards & Bits, mostly because their headquarters is close enough to me to reduce shipping prices and I don't usually order enough to qualify for free shipping. I've always been satisfied with Miniature Market though and would shop there a lot more often if I found their site layout more appealing.

Space Alert is back for a very limited time. I just received an e-mail this morning and it seems they only have three in stock. I assume they are 1st edition copies as they are currently OOP and the next shipment won't be for the next couple months.

You can read about Space Alert on its BGG page here.

EDIT: Out of Stock same day.
