This is a match to the death. Very small track and you drive until everyone else is gone. Last man standing. I have played several games where someone just gets lucky enough to get in front and there's no catching them. With Death Bowl, combat is the only way.

For this, make a circle with 2 U-shaped tiles.

1. Pick a first player and place your cars anywhere on the track.
2. Turn order is clockwise rotation.

With 6 people, it plays in as little as 15 minutes, so multiple rounds can be done, as well.

You can also choose to start your cars in different directions but you both take ramming damage for head on collisions, just like hitting a wall.

What about a small track, two curves two straights, but line up as normal.

Each time the player in first place passes the chequered line, the player in last place is automatically eliminated. ie wrecked.

So you eliminate half the players after lap 1? That doesn't sound right.

I think what he means is this:

In a 6 player race, once the 5th place player has crossed the line, last place explodes. Then, once 4th place has crossed, 5th explodes. And so on.

I've edited my initial post to make it more comprehensible.

How do you get to the conclusion of eliminating half of the players, when the poster states the player 'not players' in last place is eliminated? shake

The original post was that you eliminate the person in last each time someone crosses the line. That means in a 6 player game, 3 people cross the line and 3 are eliminated.

That's sounds like a pretty cool idea

...of course it has player elimination as a downside... so I think this still would get old fast if it's all you ever did.
But it sounds like a fun variant that would add a little drama!

That's why you play the game to begin with. To see how many people explode and then other people slam into their scorched remains.

...Or at least some people...

Winning is fine. But seeing a player get absolutely trashed is even more of a buzz.
