Villa Paletti is a dexterity game, akin to Jenga. It is playable by up to four players, each with different color pieces. All players work to bulid a tower together, but also try to make sure their color pieces are the ones on top of the tower. The winner is determined by which player has the most of their color pieces on the top level of the tower when it falls.

Each player on their turn takes a piece from a lower level of the tower and places it on the highest level of the tower (much like Jenga), once all available pieces have been placed on the highest level of the tower, a player may declare that there are no more avaiable moves. If everyone agrees, that player then takes the next layer and places it on the top of the tower, making a new highest level, play then continues, with pieces being placed on that level. If a player does not agree that there are no more available moves, and can make a move, the player that said there were no more moves will lose a piece.

Villa Paletti is a great dexterity game. It has strategy with players trying to determine which piece they want to move, trying to focus on helping themself, but also keeping the tower standing. However, it also has the classic tension of a dexterity game, along with all the pains of "table bumping" and joke telling. The tower also looks very nice as it is built, and the game can be played co-operatively, with players trying to achieve the tallest tower possible (easier said than done).

My Rating: 8/10
