There must have been a moment at the beginning, where we could have said no. Somehow we missed it. Well, we'll know better next time.

Remember those great boardgame cartoons that used to hit the front page? Feels like it's been years since I've seen one, but I loved 'em. They were one-shot deals, like those political cartoons on the editorial page of newspapers, but, these were game-related. Someone posted one on a geeklist and I realized that I hadn't seen one in a long long while, but I always used to look forward to them.

Did the guy stop doing them? Or is he still doing them on some site?

I miss those darn cartoons also on the start page. Is there a way to add them back on?

I haven't received a cartoon from Brian Barling in a number of years... so I retired the module.

Getting the cartoons is no problem.

The only problem is - Who is going to pay for them?

See:

We do not provide free usage. The cartoons are our company's product. If we gave away free usage, we would not have a product to sell. Thank you for understanding.

Those are OK, but the ones I'm thinking of were a lot better and more specific to modern boardgames:

Yeah! They HAVE that "Board to Pieces" HERE as "such" instead! How about we 'recruit' that R.Crumb and "have at this" based upon that 'character' FOR 'moi'

with better viewing for this at the LINK in the lower LEFT corner there: Gallery

I haven't gamed with Brian in a while but last I heard he was doing more flying airplanes than boardgaming these days. He actually invited to take me up last time I talked to him but I never took him up on the offer.

I actually own the original copy of his Museum of Wargame Maps cartoon. In the original he misspelled Museum and when he gave it to me he offered to make me a fixed version but to me that would be like fixing a Picasso. I was horrified at the idea.

Are the ones that exist somewhere in one place on here to go back to?
