I know how to change the color, how to bold, underline, etc., but I want to change the actual font.

The only fonts I'm aware of on BGG are the standard font and the code font.

Is there any way to get a real frilly font?

You can Scrabblify, but outside of that the only solution is an inline image. [INLINEIMG](link)[/INLINEIMG],

Why, of course there "were", as long that you had "Character Map" in your PC/iPad/etc. with those, AND that "took effect" within here. Œ Æ Ω While it just doesn't appear quite as 'impressive' on the site, generally.

PS:
You could definitely do it better than I have here.

Eg: use the same background colour and pick the original size to match the parameters BGG uses.

Yes, I'm considering that, but I was hoping for a font based solution. I think more people are likely to contribute to the geeklist if there's a neat trick to it.

Well, I'd point out a sort of practical aspect to this. I did some website development and there are many fonts for say Microsoft Word which don't have corresponding fonts in "html." Also you have to consider different platforms. So a font that is used on a Mac might not be available for a PC.

It is possible to sometimes download a font for the browser. But that is a pain.

There are really only two fonts. Standard (like this text)

and code, which is a fixed width serif font

Usually used to make tables, because it maintains whitespace

like this

and this

Other than that, you have color, bgcolor, bold, italics, underline and strikethrough.

All of the above are independent and can be combined as you see fit.

You don't have to tell me twice.

The Writing is on the Wall - What if Boardgames wrote poetic phrases on their wall?

Thanks for the help, everyone.

I think BGG's formatting options worked fine.

Me neither - this could be a very cool community art project. I hope it catches.
