Maybe some of you have already seen this but it is still worthy of note for those that may of missed this.

Ask most people today when the first usage of the initials OMG meaning "Oh My God" were used and most would offer an answer within the last couple of decades. Around the time when internet social rooms began. The truth is much older than you might imagine. The first known use was in a letter to Churchill in 1917. See the link.

Reading on the internet that the man was also a proficient dancer who went out his way to impress his entourage about the benefits of this art form ratchets up his credibility enormously in my eyes.

Are you referring to the hieroglyphics they found that said "Mose's Mother Wears Army Sandals?"

Taking the Lord's name in vain is considered profanity for many of us in religious circles, and we're supposed to refrain from doing so ourselves. In today's society though it seems to be considered a very mild thing, if even that. Depending on where you grew up of course.

Ah, yes, I forgot. Christians define both those terms differently than we Jews do. I'll not go into detail (wrong forum) but was confused at first. "Blasphemy" and "Name in vain" means something very different to me than they do to you.
