Picked up some 3mm Palight foamed PVC sheet at a garage sale.
I haven't done any environmental accounting on this stuff.

Anyone here tried it?
It looks like an alternative for foamboard for boards and tiles.
But it is also heat formable so simple 3D parts and Space Hulk walls are possible.

Crafter Modeller here is sanding and then using water-based paints for a grain effect finish. Though the brochures says to use; vinyls, acrylic lacquers or ! 2 part polyurethanes !

You should be able to get this product from Bunnings as Palram produce Suntuf poly carb roof sheeting, which is available at Bunnings. According to the Palram site this product is:
Tested and approved for digital printing by world leading printer manufacturers etc.
Now can you get a map printed onto this product?

I have cut it using woodworking tools and shaped it with heat.
