From living rules: Optional action: Buy one DNA Roadrunner.
preys can adjust their DN Roadrunner one step.

Size: +/- step. Preys can adjust one step for free.

Reading the rules, I think the intent of the free action was not to cull animals directly, by choosing the action.
Theme suggest to me that, when the specie is developing defenses, predators adapt in the same way.

The free action can be overpowered if it is used not to even the things.

Specie grow up and predators free action to shrink?
Buy the second M, and predators acquire for free A? Or they "sell" their "M"?

I think Predators could adjust for free, just to be in range again, (both Size and Roadrunner)

After the specie change size or buy RR DNA, they can adjust, only if they are "out", and only to meet the conditions needed.

In my opinion:
After the species move size, I think there is no reason for a free size step if they really arw within range.

If they are AA, there is no reason to get a free A when preys buy their first A.

Any ideas?
