I wasn't able to find a general thread for people seeking to trade for or purchase singles, so thought I'd just start a thread here (and will delete it if someone can point me toward a thread that already exists for this purpose).

I was thinking about buying an extra core set of Android: Netrunner, but for now the only card that I'd really like additional copies of is the runner resource card Ice Carver. I thought I'd check and see if anyone wants to trade or sell their copy/copies of Ice Carver.

-----
EDIT: Come to think of it, re-reading the card, it seems like it may not be cumulative in the way that Clown was in '96 Netrunner (or at least the way I thought Clown played)... which would make sense since Clown was a program that took up an MU, whereas Ice Carver is a resource. I guess I'd still like to have an extra in the deck, but would be good to know if having two out at once is useless.

Ice Carver probably would be cumulative. The issue is that it's Unique. Only one can be out at a time.

Ahh, that's what the diamond next to the name means?

I hadn't picked up on that. It's more obvious with Consoles since it's specified in the text, but I guess that's because it's a limitation across all Consoles, not just any given one. So you can have up to 3 copies of "unique" cards in the deck, but only one in play of each different unique card (with the added restriction on consoles of only one of all the different consoles in play at any one time)?

Ah well, that's a shame, I liked having multiple Clowns in play in old Netrunner...

Does that mean you want to mail me your Ice Carver to save yourself from being a bad person?

Don't mind the peanut gallery. I got two possible deals for you. Do you own one core or two?

I don't think EVERY Corp deck should have Troubleshooter in it. I agree that I cannot imagine a HB deck without two-three of them, but other Corps might not want to spend the influence. Besides, it was worth asking Maybe someone wants to make a few quick bucks by selling them.

for friendly games, we've been using spare ID cards as proxies.

"In this game, the extra NOISE will be playing the part of a Wydlside"

Won't work for meat-world tournaments, but in friendly play it's fine.

I'll probably include a proxy or two in my deck (Troubleshooters ... sad face at FFG for printing just one of these in each Core Set). And if I want to participate in tournaments I'm sure I'll find generous souls that will borrow me a couple. I doubt EVERYONE will play HB.

I'll give it to you for:
A) 10$
or
B) A Grimoire
or
C) A one of each card that has two copies in the coreset

If IrionClaus doesn't take you up on your offer, I would happily send you one of each card that has two copies in the Core Set for a Corporate Troubleshooter.
