a] What's a "trap token"? There's nothing in the box but chips and bags.
b] Once a stack is trapped, it stays trapped for the rest of the game? It can never be untrapped?
c] If a stack is trapped twice, you take 2 wounds when you buy from that stack?

a) Any convenient token you like. I keep a few pennies in the box for trap tokens.
b) Yes - trap tokens are never removed. Even if the stack is emptied (I believe).
c) Yes again. Pretty much all effects stack in this game, including the trap tokens.

Thanks.

So that's pretty harsh, but I guess that fits well with it being a fast, fierce game.

Well, just like Dominion's 'Embargo', you'll probably want to put more than one wound on some chips to provide the proper...'discouragement', as it were . Most players would happily take a Double crash gem for 1 wound, but will probably think twice once there are 3 wounds or more on it. Likewise, in Dominion you'll definitely have to embargo Platinum more than once before other players think about going for Provinces instead.

Of course though, while you're playing havoc with the chip piles, you're also falling steadily behind in making an engine, so it's not a great tactic ordinarily. Plus, there are other ways for players to acquire some chips without having to actually 'buy' them and get wounded.
