Ok, I am the designer, so I am favoring this game! But really, I know this is going to be an excellent game. It the scenario cover everything, from Amphibious landings, the largest pacific tank battle, the lastest Banzai attack ever, a counter landing, urban, jungle, caves, airfield and sugarcane field battles and more. New unit types, U.S. Marines, U.S. Army, Japanese Army & Japanese SNLF counters. Both sides have offensive and defensive scenarios. The perfect PG game for the Pacific.

Here is an earlier posting from AP/Gold-club:

A new Panzer Grenadier boxed game is always a major event in the Avalanche Press universe. And this one is extremely cool. Here’s why:

• Marine tanks: Shermans and Stuarts. Flame-throwing Marine tanks!

• Japanese tanks: Chi-Ha tanks and Shinhoto Chi-Ha tanks!

• Tank battles. Marine vs. Japanese tank battles.

• The 1944 Marine rifle platoon: designed for maximum firepower, with every third man wielding a Browning Automatic Rifle. The most powerful infantry piece in the Panzer Grenadier armory.

• Japanese Marines.

• All sorts of new weaponry: rocket trucks, amphibious vehicles, landing craft (American AND Japanese) and more.

>Death Valley, Hell’s Pocket and Purple Heart Ridge

Are actually the US Army's areas of combat on Saipan. Just thought I should clear that up.
