My wife will be leaving for six weeks to finish her Army Chaplain training. During those six weeks I'll be home alone. My plan is to play one of my bigger wargames that I haven't played yet.

Below are the games I've been contemplating ranked in order of preference. The top three are very close so I'm having a hard time deciding.

Which would you recommend?

I didn't see Case Blue on the list, so I voted for None But Heroes.

Don't like any of those choices (as choices, decent games). Looking at your collection, why not the full campaign of Silent War?

"Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

Those all look like great choices. I would set up Twilight in the East in your circumstances but since it isn't on the list - I am voting for NW:K because the air support rules are supposed to be terrifically fine grained.

I like Vietnam sims quite a bit, but I believe Mr. Calandale is correct; insufficient time to do justice to the option listed. I am saving Vietnam 1965 - 1975 for a nice long block of time. Like my sixties...

I considered that one as well but I wanted to play one of the ones I haven't played - since I have so many I haven't played yet.

. . . as she is oogled by Leonid Brezhnev and Wally Cox ('to block, Peter')

Ms. St. John's IQ was reportedly very high -- easily more than the IQ's of Stalin, Khruschev, and Brezhnev combined.

Given that he said "home alone", I assumed they were one and the same.

Sorry, you're not playing by the rules and it's clear you really don't understand what the OP is saying.

He's saying: his wife is going away, he will miss her, and to be reminded of her while she is away he wants someone to tell him what he should be doing with every moment of his time. Freedom of choice would only make is loneliness worse.

It might also be most helpful if all further posts used this template:

"Honey, while I am gone I have chose this wargame, (insert title here), for you to play. I've left Hot Pockets in the freezer and put tape on the microwave button you should use to cook them. Before I return the game needs to be cleaned up and put away. Lastly, don't delete any of my DVR programs and wash yourself once-a-day."
