Now that many of us have Flash Point and all the glorious expansions, what have people been doing as far as storing everything? I've managed to fit everything into the base game box except the new plastic fireman meeples. The bases are just a little too wide to fit back in the box with all of the boards included. I'd hate to leave anything behind on the way to game night.

So has anyone come up with any creative ideas for storage?

I've already ditched the insert and I'm just barely short on space still. The old wooden firemeeples fit because they're nice and flat. The round bases on the plastic ones are another story.

Line their bases up along the edge of the box, between the game boards and the side wall. Should fit.

This is a tight squeeze, but it does appear to work. Definitely makes me worry about splitting my corners with the extra tension though.

I flipped my insert upside down. Able to fit the base game + all expansions. Lid is raised by about 1cm due to the multitude of boards though.

did your guy's rules/boards come wrinkled? I think it's because of the recent rain and moisture in the bay area (I think it shipped from oakland?)

Boards, no. Rules, yes - but it was the same thing with the first expansion the first time around.

My rules were a little wrinkled as well. My best guess would be their method of shrink wrapping paired with the material of rule sheets.

I think that this works for the 1st edition box... But unfortunately my 2nd edition box is not high enough.

i have everything and what i did was i got some cardboard and made a sort of 'collar' insert to extend the sides of the box.
works quite well.

I'm having a hard time picturing this.
