Now that GW provided fanatasy skirmish (Mordheim: City of the Damned), sci-fi skirmish (Necromunda) and cowboy skirmish (Legends of the Old West), is there also a WW II inspired skirmish game or mod?

GW dropped everything from this line and there are no announced plans to release new ruleset lines outside of 40k and Fantasy..although I suppose that could cange. The same guy Rick Priestly who was the major contributing rules writer for the GW line is working for a new company (Warlord Games) and has produced some amazing award winning rulebooks like Black Powder alongside Perry at Perry miniatures (great minis).
They now carry a WWII line with a ruleset called Bolt action.
Here is a good review about the ruleset: Bolt Action
