I recently had a 5 person game where the sympathizer ends up a revealed Cylon. Then, then the president who was an unrevealed cylon sends the admiral to the brig and the other unreavealed cylon sends the last human player to the brig. This turns out to be an unfortunate series of events for the human players since they are both in the brig. So, does that mean that they can only play one skill card per skill check (that is to get out of the brig)? And since the unrevealed cylon players can play more cards, were we right that these humans would not be able to get out? What if the 2 cylon players reveal that they are both cylons? There is no admiral and president at the moment because the remaining 2 human players are both in the brig and cannot get out.

The only problem I see here is playing 5-player with the sympathizer. That's not allowed per the rules. Of course cylons are going to wipe the (brig) floor with the humans if they outnumber them.

If all humans are in the Brig, the character highest in the line of succession is the Admiral until someone gets out, then that person becomes Admiral. The President, however, remains the President when in the Brig, so that is not an issue.

And yes, you should not have been using the sympathizer in a 5 player game. A 5p should be 3 humans v 2 cylons.

Without the Sympathizer the Humans would outnumber the Cylons and even if all Humans are in the Brig they are able to XO each other to get two breakout atttempts each turn. Since they draw more cards than the Cylons they would finally be able break out of the Brig.

Meanwhile, since brigged players don't draw crisis cards, the game would move on very slowly, thereby limiting the damage the Cylons could do.

As others already pointed out, the Titles would automatically switch to the Humans in the Brig when all Cylons reveal.

well, the way to go about that is to use the cylon locations. Sets up and activates ships without giving them jump icons. *. Also goes after resources.

* few of the crisis cards move up jump prep, and prepare for jump step is NOT ignored in exps

Having a couple of "humans" wandering around Galactica unopposed, "accidentally" failing skill checks, moving civilian ships into raiders, etc, may be more damaging than having them as revealed Cylons...
