I have decided to start with a 'how to' scenario that teaches the game system and a Wild West campaign.

The 'how to' game will be a sci-fi setting, with the character as an officer taking a final combat proficiency exercise. It will be similar to the training at the beginning of Half-Life, a walk through movement, modifiers, Line of sight, rolling attacks, etc. The second half will be a short battle, with only 3 or 4 units to control and enemies placed to give a range of tactics.

The Wild West scenario will be almost 100% historical. I will introduce a fictional protagonist who tracks the real outlaw, and takes part in the battles. Everything but the protagonist will be real history.

That's the plan, anyway. Thank you to everyone who replied, it will be a better game thanks to you.
