I'm playing scenario 5 for the first time and wondering if the 88s get all of the Final OP fire benefits. Also, if the Germans had a command point in this scenario, could an 88 fire final OP fire at a non-adjacent moving unit?

Thanks.

Guns and Vehicles may NOT use Final Op Fire

However the designer mentioned that under the new rules for Band of Brothers: Ghost Panzer vehicles (and perhaps guns) may have a limited Fin. Op fire, restricted to the 2 frontal hexes. Check Ghost Panzer forum page!

as far as I remember Vehicles and guns NEVER use command points, but I may be wrong on this.

Thanks! I couldn't find the part about not using Final Op Fire.

I do remember the part about not being able to use command points (and artillery cannot as well). *slap head*.

its from the updated rules... don't know if the paging is correct with the older version (use the newer ones, they're much clearer!)

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

There were some updates...

I just checked the rules on the WG website. They are still the ones that we posted over the summer in order to get feedback. Here was the process:

- In the last year I have been tracking every rules question posted on BGG and Consimworld.
- I marked up the rules and we put them out there for feedback (over the summer).
- Based on that feedback, we made some more tweaks and put out the 1.1 rules.

I let WGs know that they need to update what they have up.

Many Grognards had no problems with the original rules, however, BoB has attracted quite a few people who are somewhat knew to wargaming. We found that just a little extra clarification went a long way to clearing up some concepts for newer people.

Man

I think you're wrong devil

I crosschecked rules on bgg and on Whortington games site and, looks to me, they're the same. Phrases in blue on bgg's rules match blue phrases on the rules from Whortington Games site, I didnt notice different wordings. I didnt check lines test written black and red though...

Please Have a look!

Nope. I'm right. ninja

As I said, the ones we put out over the summer had many changes already incorporated. I don't remember what exactly was clarified in the last edits, but I know that the one up on Worthington's site is not the most up to date because it says Second Edition. The most up to date rules say Version 1.1.

Hopefully, soon, they will update the ones on their site.
