Hi folks,

am I correct that there were some scenarios for Panzer Leader in the Spartan Journal (or what was the exact name in the 70ties)?

If so, are they accessible somewhere?

I searched (and my Google-fu is strong in me), but so far was unable to locate anything on the Spartan Journal itself, let alone anything related to Panzer Leader...

Your Google-fu may be strong but you are not a master yet...

Here is a crumb to get you started on your journey...

(My search criteria... "spartan journal" 1972 panzer )

You will need to do more work... Perhaps there is a torrent download in your future...

Thx! Saw that Panzer Leader article summary somewhere already

But that does not take care of the "how to get it" problem... Will try some more google-fu...

There are many symbols like this all over the article. Is it just me or is it because of the common file conversion problem?

The popular Spartan Panzerleader scenarios were in fact complete expansions/complete games al most with maps and many additional counters to fit the battle. One was on the D-Day landings(Omaha?) and another Panzerleader in the Desert.

I haven't looked at where mine are for many years but they're around somewhere

Check over at Mike's Wargame Page. He has 23 scenarios for Panzer Leader and PanzerBlitz, some from the General, some from other publications.

I didn't know MMP had a Panzer Leader edition. You can download remakes of the Avalon Hill version from Imaginative Strategist's Panzer Leader: Leader Landscape page. You can also find counter remakes. They did the same for PanzerBlitz.

Ah yes, found this one - probably half of them are for Panzerblitz, the other half for Panzer Leader... Thx!

I don't have the MMP remake but from what I have read they are related pretty much in name only. Any scenario made for the original would probably not be a good fit (much akin to the modification required to re-tool a Squad Leader scenario to ASL).
