At the risk of being ousted from the Con for suggesting anything non-gaming related, are there any Geocachers attending the con this year? My wife loves it, so I was thinking I'd see if there are any others out there who would like to spend a few hours one day looking for caches. I'm told there is a very old one (1996?2000, I was corrected) near the con.

If there is any interest, we can arrange a gathering time/place and do some searching.

Any takers?

I am a GeoCacher, and depending on when the outing was, I may attend.

Saskatoon. The land of milk and honey in the north.

So what day are we all going to wear our Rider silks?

You will be able to recognize me...
...I will be the guy wearing the Edmonton Eskimos Jersey!

Are you a member of www.saskgames.com?
Did you go to ToonCON II this year?
What is your Geocaching moniker?

So many questions.

Boooo Evil Empire, Boooooooo shake

I haven't signed up on SaskGames as of yet. Not sure why, maybe I'm just lazy. I did go to ToonCon 2 this year though, it was pretty awesome.

My wife goes by ZooAmy on the Geocaching site. I'm not on there myself, geocaching is her thing. I just tag along sometimes.

When did this overtext thing happen? Am I supposed to think of something clever to put here?

I've always been mildly interested in Geocaching. And since I just got my first ever iphone, perhaps I should start up now...

I'm not sure if I could spare a few hours away from gaming though.

maybe.

cool

In the past, I have gone out for a 30-60 minute leg stretch to find a couple of caches close to the CON. I only go for a short expedition just to get some walking in and catch some fresh air. I would be up for a short outing.

It hasn't been my cup of tea, but my wife loves it. And I look at it as a break from gaming. I was thinking of making it something we do in conjunction with heading out on the shuttle for some food, maybe on the Thursday. We'll be away from the hotel and airport anyway, might as well find some caches

It's in Dallas? If you let us know where it is, my wife and I are going to Europe in the spring, we may be able to find it and bring it

My wife, StitchingMouse, who is not attending the Con, but will be in Dallas, will happily join any caching ventures.

My wife and I would be interested in a joint effort for a very challenging cache in the Dallas area. Its named Druid Hunters, GC31101. Anyone else up for this "5"?

Great. When do you arrive in Dallas? I was thinking that we could begin Wednesday morning for several hours, then continue on Thursday, and Friday mornings until we uncover all the clues and locate the grail.

Hopefully we can get others to join in as well, from all I've read this is an exciting, yet very challenging adventure.
