OK, this was just to funny.

Our friend Matthew was over and we (Kathi, Matthew and I) were all playing Settlers of Catan and eating cashews. Matthew gave this odd grunt and started to laugh. He said, "Ohhh, I was eating these Cashews and by accident popped this catan road in my mouth with a handfull of nuts. I bit down and knew something was really wrong with what I ate," He pulled it out and it has his teeth marks in it.

I was laughing hard.

Kathi, thinking she was being funny said, "Preston is probably going to post this on BGG."

I looked at her and said, "Truth be told, I was already thinking about the title for such a post."

She said, "do I know you or what?"

So has any of your friends attempted to eat your game?

After reading the title of this post, I definitely expected it to be about Through the Desert (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/503).

Pretty funny though, glad no one was hurt, except the road. Maybe Jay Tummelson will send you a new road piece if you tell him this story laugh

Happy to report that both Matthew and the road are in fine condition. Yes, I agree that Through the desert has this "Easter Candy" appeal to the taste buds.

My son played a game of Heroscape against a kid at a TRU hosted event and all the kid would talk about was eating the figures and having dreams about eating the figures.

Citadels pieces look very tasty, but I've yet to eat them. Also, Othello gets me hungry for oreos.

Since when did Jay start working for Mayfair?

It's because food on the table that players sometimes try to eat the components.

Hey that Peep War looks like fun, but the website for it seems to be down. Anyone know where I can find the rules?
