Can plastic dice be dyed? I'd like to have a set of dice that looked like they were made from bone (maybe a light yellow-tan-ivory color).

Plastic? I doubt it. Wood? Probably. Could you airbrush something on ivory dice? Probably; you know better whether it would be durable.

Or they sell bone dice, just Google "bone dice". Expensive, though, for dice.

Airbrush would look good .... for a while. I'm thinking they would start getting nicked and scratched up with use. Nice idea though.

I've achieved believable coloration in white plastic beads to look like bone for a costume before. I don't think the treatment penetrates very deep, and probably isn't durable for long-term dice use. But the trick is to wet-sand the plastic with 400 grit or 500 grit sandpaper. Then brew the strongest black tea you can imagine: 4 tea bags per cup, steeped for fifteen minutes in boiling (not boiled) water. Soak the plastic in the tea for a day or three. Maybe a matte finish clear coat would preserve the look for just a bit longer.

I'm sure I've seen threads on here about dyeing plastics with Rit dyes.

Looks pretty easy.
