Is there such a thing as a versionid tag to link to game versions in the wiki?

I've looked unsuccessfully for such a thing on the Wiki_Formatting page, and a search of the forums gives nothing relevant. As well, simply testing things like "[versionid=NUMBER]" and "[version=NUMBER]" didn't have the hoped-for result.

Assuming that there is, in fact, no such tag at this time, I'd like to request that one be created. What's the best way to go about doing this? I looked at the Wiki_To_Do page, but the page's history shows very little recent activity, so I'm guessing that that page has fallen into disuse.

Edit: updated subject line due to forum switch.

Re: Is there a versionid tag?
Your workaround is to use URL formatting, e.g. if you took out the space after http from the below and put it in a wiki page you'd get a link to the version page:

[http ://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgameversion/154415/spanish-first-edition Twilight Struggle (Spanish First Edition)]

I've asked that this be moved to the suggestions forum.

Thanks, but I've already been using this workaround for some time. Finally decided it was worth asking whether I was missing something and asking for the tag to be implemented if not.
