Hey!

I purchased R4tG yesterday and played the practice game against my gf. I am a Dominion veteran, so this seemed different but familiar enough. Anyway, I downloaded KeldonAI 0.8.1 in order to get to know the cards.

A few moments later I finished my first game against the praised AI opponent and won. Not trying to blow my own horn, but shouldn't the AI be harder than this? Maybe it was set to the easiest, so is there a difficulty setting somewhere? Anyway, here is a wall of text about the game. Any feedback and/or recommendation is welcome.

Try the advanced 2-player mode, where a player can activate two phases on each turn. The Keldon AI will shine.

Also try your hand against two AI players; quite a challenge.

An hour or so later the score was 3-1 for me. The last match ended 36 to 24 VP. Thanks for the suggestion, I will have to try it with two AI opponents and later on with the advanced 1vs1 mode.

I won my first 3 games vs Keldon... and thought the same thing.

I must be great at this game... and while I do believe that I am always learning and improving, my win ratio against Keldon is down to about 40% at this point (played 50+ games).

The AI is pretty tough, and this is truly a game of watch your opponent and anticipate his moves so you can take actions on what his likely throws are. If you play RftG as a solitaire type game, you're gonna have a bad time. Watch your opponent.

In 4p games, I've been winning about 40 games by the time the AI collectively wins 50 games

For 2pa games, I win 50 games while the AI has on average 33 wins

However, I useg all 3 expansions, and add goals and TO, which is supposed to be what the AI is geared towards.
