I'm going to spend this around $150 Friday. But I cannot decide what to pick. If you could spend 150 on these games on my wishlist which ones would you pick. It can be Above 150 but no more than 160.

http://www.coolstuffinc.com/user_wishlist.php?id=6d6554c1aaf...

I also was thinking about waiting for black Friday? should I wait or do you think those games would remain the same.

Thank you for your time. I appreciate the help.

EDIT: For the Black Friday It doesn't have to be CoolStuffinc Only. It can be also Miniature Market.

swap out Rise of the Demons for Quarmaggeddon and you've got three distinct genres all with super-quality components.

None. You and I have very different tastes.

Assuming you have a dedicated partner willing to help you learn the rules, though, Mage Knight is a great game.

Honestly, THIS is my type of wishlist! laugh

As others have said, it would probably be best to go with Eclipse, Mage Wars, and Mage Knight. Awesome games that have great staying power.

Edit: Also, good thinking about the Black Friday thing. I can't remember what CSI does, but there could be some great deals.

Can't comment much on any of those games, but I'm glad you posted your CoolStuffInc wishlist.

Looks like they just received Archipelago... the one new game I've been really wanting. Just take my money, CSI! And why do you have to be clear across the country, making me wait a week for delivery? cry

My votes are

$39 Nexus Ops
$39 Mage Wars
$11 Cutthroat Caverns; Deeper and Darker
$52 Merchants of Venus
----
$141 Total

This is my vote, if I have to stick with your list. I don't really like Cutthroat Caverns, but if you do, you will definitely want the Deeper & Darker expansion. It adds unique abilities for each character making the game much more thematic.

Of course, a list based on my own tastes would look completely different:

$13 Sentinels of the Multiverse: Rook City expansion
$32 Battlestar Galactica
$40 BattleStations, revised edition
$39 Rex: Final Days of an Empire
$27 BattleCON: War of the Indines
---
$151 Total

Me to wife: "Why are all the OLGS all the way across the country from California."
Wife to me: "Sounds like a business opportunity to me."
Me to BGG users: "I'm too lazy. Someone else please. 37 million
people in California alone. We want cheap games and we want them now."

LOL I said the same thing to My girlfriend. Why can't we just have a CoolStuffinc or Miniature Market @ California and it will be even better if it was at So-cal.

I been playing BattleCON on the iPhone and I'm really bad at that game. Have't even won once but in my opinion is a really good game.

When I order from amazon,I will usually buy from them but last time I ordered they took like 5 days and the package came opened. The game was in perfect condition but was little upset because I was going try it some days before.

I had never heard of them, so thanks for the tip. It does seem that they are 10-20% higher than some of the other OLGS and I don't see anything about free shipping from them. The time to ship also seems a little slower (1-3 days). I'm not sure if they really work out that well for me, despite their proximity.

I ordered today some games with friends to split shipping cost to Brazil. It's hard to live here and need to import all kind of things. We ordered Vinhos + Dungeon Lords + Ice Flow = $125, but we also paid $63 of shipping by USPS! And, to complete, we can maybe pay income tax when the package arrives here... Not good.
