My fiance and I are really loving Agricola: All Creatures Big and Small right now. The game is stupid quick to set up, play and put away, and yet there is a solid level of strategy and choice in the game.

We are definitely going to grab Agricola: All Creatures Big and Small – More Buildings Big and Small and Le Havre: The Inland Port, but is there anything that fits the bill out right now?/

Thanks!

BattleCON: War of Indines
Race for the Galaxy
Puzzle Strike (Third Edition)

Each of these has a bit of a learning curve, but they can all be played quickly, and all of them have a great deal of variety and depth to explore. I'd advise trying out Puzzle Strike on the Fantasy Strike server before buying it. You can play for free with the 2 characters that are free to play that week.

Race for the Galaxy or Tournay for something a little lighter.

Also, the Summoner Wars: Master Set has incredible replayability and depth, games take from a half hour to an hour.

Another vote for Race for the Galaxy! This is a great game that my boyfriend and I will play when we want a quick set up, play, but a lot of fun. I suggest grabbing the first expansion with it to add the extra objectives that add a great racing element between players.

Not too interested in BattleCON - Rach isn't too into games with "cards with words"

Race isn't my cup of tea.

We liked Puzzle Strike but didn't love it.

Thanks! Interested in Tournay, but Rach probably won't like all the symbols.

We have Summoner Wars - Rach isn't crazy about it...because I'm much better than her. whistle

Probably should have mentioned I'm looking for something more Euro-y and Resource Management-y.

Throw games without being obvious about it until you watch her improve.

Hive is pretty deep and it only takes 10 minutes. So that ratio is pretty high.

I also was going to first write Battle Line. I'll add Perry Rhodan: The Cosmic League which I think has something interesting choices to make.
