1. What is hexagonal and square rate?
2. In the example, was the plus three result was obtained by adding; +1 range three, +1 for range one, and +1 for hexagonal rate?
I just want to make sure you're supposed to add both range modifiers.

Thanks!

Thanks Mike for the response. I'm still unclear about question one. I understand the numerical bonus but I don't know what hexagonal/square move rate is. When do I apply it? Hope that makes sense.

Thanks again!

I play at EPGS on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month and if you live in Eastern PA, Western NJ or Northern DE ... you should too!

Hexagonal / square rates are not move related. Rate refers to the number of guns the ship has. The hex or square modifies that number.

Aha! It's the symbol beneath the rate that designates hexagonal/ square rate. I read right over that.
