-In the box print of the games rules, do curse and treasure cards have their text written on their cards, on are their game text defined in the published rules document?

-Are there any planes to alter this text a second time, as some kind of an improvement for players?

Copy I played recently did not have the text on the cards/tiles. You had to look at the icon and then reference the rule sheet.

Since the English edition is actually the International edition, having the text on the cards would require it in 5 languages. We've had no problem matching the pictures to what they do.

We just looked over the sheet with the curses and then left it out on the table the first few times we played with the curses. It really doesnt take very long to remember which each of the curses do. The hand on your head and no talking are pretty self explanatory with the pictures on the cards.

While it would be handy to have a quick reference card, it certainly doesnt affect game play. This game is a frantic dice fest hoot. Take it for what its worth. Great filler for gamers and non gamers alike.
