Hey I'm looking to get some panniers to put on my bike over the rear tire. Can anyone recommend panniers large enough to transport Ticket To Ride sized board games?

Thanks!

You are a brave man.

I'm picturing little train cars and cards ALL over the street as you frantically try to pick them up while cars whizz by honking at you!

Hahahaha. Hopefully it also has clips/zippers. That way if I wipe out I can worry about myself

Not to jack your thread but where are you in VA? I'm in Bristow, near Manassas (suburbs of DC)

Do you want them to be completely waterproof? I'm also looking for decent panniers, although you may need larger ones than I. I haven't found any good, waterproof ones for less than about $200.

Have a look on the Bontrager website. I got some from my local bike shop here in Guernsey and the pair cost about £60. They are waterproof and easily fit games the size of Ticket to Ride in. Not so sure you would fit TI3 in them but might me worth a try sometime

No idea where you can get them in the USA, though.

Would these work? Looks like Amazon carries quite a few.

I have some that would work for you. Problem is I got them here in Germany, at a LBS (local bike shop) where I live.

They are 100% waterproof and I ride year round in snow, rain, and mountains.....I am an avid mountainbiker/racer and I know these work.

I just put in TTR and it fit perfectly... In fact I also fit CE in with and it closed perfectly.

Look at the pics...

I believe these would do the trick, the pics of them closed has those 2 games in them. With other miscelaneous bike stuff, chain lube, extra tube, bungee cords, allen wrenches, and clips..

....I think its a German off brand but they work and I've had them on my commuter for almost 2 years. Here is the link to the mfr website...http://www.mainstream-msx.de/images_04/frontroller/english/f... cost for mine were around $85 (got them on sale end of year)

This should give you good dimensions to work from for something comparable. Hope this helps
