I'm really hoping to get this game for Christmas.
Some people have commented on this game that it is too easy to cheat.
Here's a variant for those people.

Set the game up as normal.
Hand out the dice.
When everyone's ready to play, announce "Ok, we've won this game".
Pack the game away and find another game to play.

Never understood the point of cheating - you are only cheating yourself.

Aren't we allowed to have some fun?
If you don't like the thread, don't read it.

I could not agree more (or laugh more). Do you see the lenghts some people go to cheat on computer games? They spend more time learning loopholes and cheats than they do actually playing the game.

Makes no sence. It's like arm-wrestling a kitten. You won? So what?

Well with computer games it's maybe more finding the loophole itself that can be fun, if you are an investigative person.

But I agree, in a game like this it makes no sense. Also it's so short, even if that door closes right in front of you and you die, that's just the best reason to play another round :-)

How do you suggest one determines their opinion of a thread prior to reading it?

Reread it backwards. It works like rewinding.

I thought that if you did that it said "Paul is dead."

I understand that the problem is that it is very easy to make mistakes during the game - going from chamber to chamber in an illegal way, not rolling the dice after using them, forgetting to take a curse after revealing a tile, forgetting what kind of curse you have. It doesn't have to be deliberate.

Yep, I remember things I did not do, both good and bad, after each game.

Good thing it's "cooperative", or you'd have plenty of finger pointing and name-calling.

"Hey! You cheated! Wait. This is cooperative. Never mind. Good strategy!"
