Home at last!
So many years abroad and it's time to get back home.
But...
What's that thing at the coast?
A portal?
Somebody dared to come here and try to conquer my city?!?
They will regret that!
- Uhgth - prepare everybody - we're going to MY city

This is a first Co-operation PBF game.
We will use a Lost Legion expansion rules and components.
We will play a Volkare's Return scenario.

This is a new scenario and most of you do not know rules yet.
Don't worry - the game will start when you get the game.

I am posting it now so you may start signing in.
The original scenario is for 4 players max, but there is no problem increasing the level for 5 players!
We'll see what's the interest in this PBF.

Please remember that Volkare's scenario are for advanced players.

It will be an open 4 columnn map.

If you sign in let us know what level you want:

easy - standard - hard

And don't think an easy level is easy devil

The expansion is out soon!

I'll be glad to join but I see 2 probs.

1) I do not have exp & I will hardly get one soon enough. (Although some of my friends will definately have it)

2) I am participating in another MK PBF and there were other ppl that didn't made there (due to me as well).

So probably - treat me as a 1st alternative player. If You will have difficulties finding the crew, or someone will have rl probs - I'll be glad to step in. And I'd say - standart is the way to go.

Woot, sign me up! Any difficulty is fine depending on what others want but standard is probably a good place to start.

I'll play!

I have no preference between hard or standard, but I'd definitely prefer not to do easy.

Me please!

And I think standard would be good, to start...

Also, I started a PBF Interest thread for players to post their desire to play, it might be good to try and pull from that list for players who are waiting to join in!

For those of you who didn't notice yet, we have some preview of the expansion thanks to Paul.

You can see difficulty level of our scenario there...
Think twice before you post you preferences

I just finished my "n" try to beat the hard level.
7 Spells, 7 AA, 2 Artifacts, 4 units and still failure

So, after looking more at the difficulty setting, I cast my vote for Heroic/Fair, I think. For a first try..

I'm fine with either. 5 is probably easier to win with, but I'm up for the challenge

Being that I'm 7th anyway, I'm going to back out. I don't think I can keep up with any kind of pace, though I'll read along as I can. Good luck, all!

There is an option for running 2 3-players game

There are 2 great scenarios in the expansion.

2 3-player games sounds fun!

That way, we could see one of each of the scenarios

I would play however the GM wants! Multiple games sound like more fun but also more work -- if it's too much, we could also trade off by rounds in a single game.

(Have you managed to beat a Hard scenario yet, Pawel?)

No. But I didn't have time recently.
And I wanted to try the other scenario. Volkare's Quest.
It's a little easier I think. No problem with the medium level.

A final board

Here's an idea:

Since we have a lot of interest, but only 1 admin, we could run 2 campaigns. The first would be the competitive version, with Pabula admin-ing, keeping track of everything. This style of play we already know, and works well.

The second could be a cooperative, open-info scenario run by the players, where all info is randomly rolled and public knowledge. We would each roll for our hands, end-of-turn draws, and everything else. Because of this, no information is hidden, and no admin is necessary. This does mean that no info is hidden, however.

I would be willing to take part in a 4-player cooperative Volkare's Return with all info open. Then Pabula could run a 4-Player MK:LL of his choice (I would be interested in seeing the competitive one, but either would be great)

How does that sound?

Still fighting with Volkare on Legendary/Thrilling level.
Another defeat.
And I won with level 10 city in 2 turns wanting to end the round and he just came and took over my city.

Finally! Goldyx rules with his new Crystal Joy.
But just the Blitz scenario. Volkare is at lower level
I have finished with 41 wounds.
8 AA, 4 spells, no artifacts.
Nice combo: Diplomacy and Disease.
A hint: recruiting was the key.
I'm ready to start the game.
Let me know when do you want to start.
I'll post some pictures tomorrow

I can start as soon as I get some sort of overview of the rules?

My copy of MK:LL doesn't arrive for another month+, so the physical copy of the rules are out of my reach for the time being..
