Hi,

Anyone know if a version of tichu exist with plastic cards? Me and my group play a lot of tichu and the paper cards can't resist our addiction for long.

The most common solution for this problem is to buy plastic sleeves for your cards.

According to
http://boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/102880/item/1989496#item19...
you should get these sizes from these various manufacturers.

Number of Cards: 56
Arcane Tinmen Sleeve Size: Mini (AT-10101)
Fantasy Flight Sleeve Size: Standard American 2 1/4" x 3 1/2" (56x87 MM)
Mayday Sleeve Size: Standard USA Game 56 x 87 mm
Swan Panasia Sleeve Size: SWN-020
Ultra Pro Sleeve Size: Small Size 62 x 89 mm

I strongly recommend Arcane Tinmen and Swan PanAsia sleeves.

I don't mind sleeves for some games, but not for Tichu. It costs less than $10 for two new decks (Rio Grande edition). I simply buy a new double-deck box every once in a while.

I would love a KEM version of Tichu...Definitely an untapped market.

Sleeves are always an option.

I don't know how good the artscow decks are, but I would just create my own if I played it a lot. The bigger cards would be more comfortable to me. I'd create 2-4 decks to reduce the amount of shuffling (have each player shuffle a deck simultaneously).
