I am overly obsessed with For the People and Empire of the Sun getting a reprint so I can own them. Herman says they only need 250 preorders each to get reprinted so maybe I should just start promoting them relentlessly on the Geek until they get there, as they only need a little over 100 more each.

Heh. I'm waiting on this one, too

Stonewall Jackson's Way II

"Reluctant Enemies". An OCS game by MMP.

That`s the main one as I`m now wavering on "War of the Suns" (as I`ve seen another monster that looks sexy to me.) "Strafexpedition 1916" is also exerting a seductive pull at the moment. (I try to be strong but I`m so, so weak.)

I`m locked in (via P500) to, "Tanga 1914", "The Great Game" and "Maori Wars" all by Legion Games.

Forlorn hopes:

A las Barricadas! (2nd Edition) - should've gotten this as the First Edition; now that it's dropped off MMP's pre-order list, I wonder if I'll ever have one of these. Was also hoping for the France 1940 sister game. Ah well...

Korsun Pocket II - yes, it's in the hands of Pacific Rim, but will these title ever see the light of day? Loved the original despite its flaws and hold out hopes those are corrected...and am eager for the new OOB work for the Soviets, based on Glantz's research.

Panzergruppe Guderian - L2 was trumpeting this for some time, but other games that followed have already come and gone (e.g., Rommel's War). At least I still have my old SPI and AH versions. But it's harder and harder to find people to play games that have been OOP for over 20 years....

Typhoon! - Would love to see this game redone up to current GMT East Front Series standards and able to mate with the BARBAROSSA games. Might we see an EFS treatment of the Smolensk-Roslavl-Yelnia actions merging a new Typhoon! with Barbarossa: Army Group Center, 1941? Plus we now have some new insight into the Battle of Kalinin in October, 1941, thanks to Jack Radey's and Charles Sharp's latest book--

Panzer Command - Would but MMP redo this game as part of the Grand Tactical Series, maybe as an entry into the system even though all the other series games have great learning scenarios. I just want to see this older title back in print with new artwork/graphics and a system upgrade. Loved this game back in the day and we need to see it back!

StarForce 'Alpha Centauri': Interstellar Conflict in the 25th Century - On the Decision Games (I) pledge page online; we'll see if it enjoys a comeback. One of the very best science fiction boardgames ever.

Flat Top and C.V. - Long OOP and there's really nothing out there that can compare (sorry, Avalanche Press!).

Trial of Strength - Arguably the best strategic/operational Eastern Front historical boardgame/simulation ever produced! I've got one copy but hope this returns so others can play it...and I find FTF opponents!

Games in the pipeline (somewhere!):

Avalanche: The Salerno Landings - Consim Press has got this one and I look forward to it seeing the light of day. Another game I should have gotten when I had the chance. Got the Grognard Simulations massive monster series Death Ride Salerno: 16th Panzer with all the add-ons and expansions to keep me busy until the old GDW game comes out!

Hakkaa Päälle, Hollow Legions: ASL Module 7, ASL: RISING SUN, and the ASLSK Historical Module, DECISION AT ELST. Can you blame me?

Traveller5 - my one RPG concession. I got off Basic Dungeons & Dragons when GDW published the original Traveller (Classic) and I've never gotten over my "Freetrader Beowulf" addiction, although I've not played in nearly three decades! Hope that T5 comes with something like Snapshot to handle the boarding party battles! Got into this project on Kickstarter and look forward to its release!

1914: Offensive à outrance - Looking forward to this monster as I'm hoping it will be even better than Home Before the Leaves Fall: The Marne Campaign 1914. Am a World War I junkie, so this scratches some itches.

At All Costs! - Have a copy of the DTP To The Last Man! and really enjoy it, so I'm looking forward to the eastern front counterpart!

The Battle for Normandy Expansion - If I'm going to tackle this monster, I want to carry this to COBRA, the Mortain counteroffensive, and to the Falaise Pocket. One of the reasons I keep hanging onto my copy of The Longest Day.

Birds of Prey: Fighter Sweep - the next module/expansion for the best jet-age Air Combat Maneuvering game ever made!

Dien Bien Phu: The Final Gamble - There are a few games on this battle--my favorite being GDW's Citadel: The Battle of Dien Bien Phu--but it's high time we got a decent game we could play in a day. Vallée de la mort just didn't cut it; maybe Storm Over Dien Bien Phu will, but I'm most interested in Kim Kanger's design.

Of course, there are lots of others I am looking forward to, but these are the big ones!
