In the Pacific, a plane that has range of movement equal to 5, how much moves two or three hexagons?

Two hexes. Ranges are not halved on the Asia/Pacific map; rather cost for an air unit to enter a hex is doubled. Subtle difference - but it means a 5-range AC can only go two hexes (4 MP)...

It also means that the Australian CW NAV planes with range 11 cannot reach the 4 section of a sea box, since it costs them 2 range to move one hex to sea and they only have nine left after that. One could almost imagine the designers had this in mind when creating the game. whistle
