Had to work again this weekend, so I didn't have a ton of time to game, but I plan on making up for it this four day weekend!
Friday night I went over to a friends for AGOT, and then we wrapped up with a tight three player game of Sentinels. we lost against Grand Warlord Voss, after tenuously hanging on for half the game with sub 10 HP with everyone.

2012-11-16
A Game of Thrones
Sentinels of the Multiverse

2012-11-17 - It was our friend Sara's, and almost our friend Jason's (her boyfriend) birthday, so we had them over for Taco Rice, games and drinks.
Bang!
Flash Point: Fire Rescue
Fast Flowing Forest Fellers

2012-11-18
Dominion - Jamie and I haven't played this in months. It was an exceptionally tight game, with her coming out ahead by a nose.

11/18/2012: Catan Oil expansion.
- Attempted to play, even setup the board, but our 3rd player fell of the face of the earth and was a no show cry

11/18/2012: Android: Netrunner
- 2 games as the Criminal deck vs. Jintkei Corp. One really tight/entertaining game as the NBN corp. Mild deck building, really fun.

In other news, ordered my first Dominion expansion, went with Dominion: Dark Ages - - looking forward to gaming that during the holiday break. After watching a few reviews on the other expansions, I REALLY wanted to spend some more $$$ and get Dominion: Prosperity .. but spending $25 on sleeves every time is a mild deterrent for the time being.

Total dice-fest this weekend:

Tumblin-Dice x3
King of Tokyo x2
Survive: Escape from Atlantis!
Fire & Axe: A Viking Saga

It was awesome, in spite of the dice not being very nice to me.

Got to try Sid Meier's Civilization: The Board Game on Friday night. The complexity vs. time vs. fun curve wasn't high enough for my wife, and her highly apparent disinterest--as well as our over-tired two-and-a-half-year-old occasionally interrupting and disrupting--made the game less fun or everyone.

Seemed like a nice translation of the computer game, but was still crunchy enough to ask the question "Was this really necessary?" A lot of time spent adding up hammers around cities and chaining card effects would be easier if adjucated by a computer. Maybe in a couple years we will see the cardboard adaptation of Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution and get the same experience in half the time

Still, I was having fun. I had a good start as Isabella who gets very nice expansion benefits, but wasted my tech advantage by getting hemmed in for a couple turns before being able to build my third city. I had a pile of cannon(s) before anyone else had any significant military and could have continued to dominate militarily for a while, but we called the game because it had dragged on or too long already.

For the People- Played this one for the second time. Wow there is a lot to this game. I love the nuances in it and can't wait to get it to the table again. Quickly moving into my top ten games.

Paris Connection- A quick four player game of this. First time I played it. It was OK nothing special.

Article 27: The UN Security Council Game- Another first. i liked this one but I for the time and type of game I would rather play Intrique.

Smash Up- Also a first time played. Kinda fun but a little long for what it is.

It was a soccer tournament weekend, so we were out of town. But still managed a game of SET on the road, and a game of The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game when we got back home.

I went home to my mom and sister, and decided to introduce them to 7 Wonders. Four games on Saturday, one or two of them with Cities. Then two or three more games on Sunday, all with Cities and one of them with Leaders.
I also brought Coloretto and Ra: The Dice Game with me, and they have Catan and Carcassonne with two expansions each, but none of that came up.
