Just wanted to start an conversation. Does anyone know of any expansions in the works? Maybe some ideas of expansion? Or is this game good by its self?

Nothing official but we assumed there would be a 5-6 player expansion pack since the original allowed for more players. After recent game (classic) I'm not sure I'd want to play it with 5-6 though.

The original took forever with more than 4 as well. I can't imagine going 30 rounds of game play with 6 players for the FFG version.

While a 5-6 player element will probably be part of an expansion, I expect to see new player races/abilities for the pilots, as well as new Encounter cards, and perhaps some new solo challenge cards.

I suppose they could have some sort of Rastur fleet that moves from planet to planet, blocking trade and returning travelers to the box.

+1 more race options for pilots

Maybe some new races that can be interchanged?

Perhaps an option for one player to be the Warworm Amynthos and control the pirates?
